Description

The Nursery Catering Company is a leading provider of blast frozen lunches, desserts and teas for Children's Nurseries.

You will join our existing production team in our new purpose built kitchens and be responsible for assisting the kitchen chef's with the cooking of our products.

- you will posses a sharp attention to process, detail and quality.
- you are calm under pressure.
- you must be energetic and enthusiastic.
- you will get involved in cooking or whatever is necessary to ensure the smooth operation.
- you will undertake any duties as required by the chef which include traying and sealing products, washing up, cleaning.

The ideal applicant will:

Have kitchen assistant experience, who has worked in a busy production environment for a minimum of 2 years, ideally 3+ years within major contract catering or food manufacturing environments.
Have experience using commercial dishwashers.
Ideally has worked in a similar cookfreeze, cookchill and/or food production environment.
Passionate about great food, slick operations and consistently high quality.
Takes pride in achieving the highest levels of cleanliness and health & safety.
Thrives in an environment that is based on the production kitchen floor.
Embraces change and challenge.
Able to use Initiative.
Work as part of team.
