Housekeeper - Full Time

We are seeking a full time Housekeeper to support the General Manager and the wider team at our student residence at Caledon Court, Aberdeen
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday between 9am and 5.30pm
About the Role:
Working full time Monday to Friday between 9am to 5.30pm (with occasional weekend working during peak times) you'll be working under the direction of the Management Team, to provide a proactive and responsive cleaning service.
As we work in our residents' living spaces, you'll need to be a good communicator who always demonstrates professionalism and can ensure discretion and diplomacy when needed, including maintaining confidentiality regards recording sensitive information.

Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for cleaning all internal communal areas of the buildings including all hallways, stairwells, common room, laundrette and management suite.
- To clean designated student flats on a weekly basis including bedrooms, kitchens and internal hallways.
- To clean flats as and when required. This will include a deep clean of bedroom and kitchens.
- To ensure the security of the properties at all times. Reporting any security or maintenance issues immediately including any repairs.
- To dispose of all rubbish immediately upon collection disposing in the correct allocated bins provided.
- To regularly inspect and check all cupboards on site. To make sure they are clean, organised and well stocked. Making sure all cleaning materials are stored correctly and that all COSHH products are locked away in the suitable cupboard.
- To be responsible for clear and safe pedestrian access at all times including the immediate removal of rubbish and spillages upon notification.
- To carry out regular external cleaning including the removal of graffiti immediately upon discovery.
- To carry out any window cleaning as directed by the Management Team.
- To be fully knowledgeable on fire evacuation procedure and to assist where required to evacuate the building where appropriate.
- To adhere to Health and Safety Procedures at all times.
- To attend such training as required by the Management Team.
- To carry out any other duties associated with the post as required by the Management Team.
Experience Required:
- A highly motivated individual who pays attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
- Results orientated, takes ownership of responsibilities and displays pride in work carried out.
- Able to work to instruction and also to use own initiative to solve problems.
- Previous experience of cleaning in a hospitality environment
Job Type:

Salary:
£11.55 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
