Hampshire Registration Service

is an innovative and forward-thinking organisation, currently delivering in excess of 6,500 birth registrations, 7,500 death registrations, 9,500 notices of marriage / civil partnership (CP) and 5,500 ceremonies each year.

  • The daytoday work will require you to register Births, Deaths and take Notices of Marriage / Civil Partnership (CP), register Marriage and CP ceremonies, Citizenship ceremonies and other nonstatutory ceremonies.
  • You will be committed to delivering a high quality, customer focused, frontline service, with good communication skills and empathy. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is paramount in the daytoday operation of your role. You will also have the ability to work well as a member of a small team and demonstrate an understanding of equality of opportunity as it relates to Registration Service.
  • The majority of training will be undertaken at Basingstoke Registration Office, but there may be the requirement to attend other Hampshire Registration Offices for training sessions. You will also be required to work from other locations across North Hampshire
  • Alton, Andover and Aldershot Registration Offices.
