As a Barclays Business Analyst, this is an exciting opportunity where you will work with the business stakeholders, operations users, controls team, technology teams, UAT test manager and all other stakeholders to plan, manage & execute the system/process/TOMchanges.

These include business analysis, current vs future gap analysis, requirements documentation for Wholesale Lending migration to Loan IQ platform.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:


  • Liaising with all stakeholders including tech/ops partners and drive the documentation of business requirements, process flows, current vs future gap analysis, and data analysis
  • Ensuring all target processes are defined with a view to ensure robust controls are in place and ensure engagement with Controls and Rigour teams
  • Ensuring that the Process mapping and Procedures teams have relevant inputs to drive required documentation.
  • Preparing any required signoff from stakeholders on various future state design decisions and Go/No Go decisions
  • Working with various stakeholders and tech partners to plan and delivery any TOM analysis required work that has been scoped and prioritized
  • Ensuring ownership and accountability of all work items and will be responsible for reporting status and planning
  • Preparing full engagement of stakeholder's appropriate project documentation to inform of Target Operating Model and requirements definition
  • Understanding the impact of planned initiatives, deployment schedules & timelines on those processes and the business areas that use them

What we're looking for:


  • Experience in procedure documentation
  • Exceptional Business Analysis and strategic Target Operating Model experience
  • Proven knowledge of Corporate and IB Lending processes and procedures
  • Experience of tools for documentation including JIRA, Confluence and Blueworks

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Lending /Servicing knowledge across all debt products
  • Experience of using Agile project management would be preferred with some exposure to LoanIQ and ACBS
  • Knowledge & experience working closely with IT, Transformation & Change area
  • Exceptional ability to drive strategic Business process design and associated workflow
