We are looking to recruit 2 experienced Asbestos Site Supervisors for a range of ongoing and future works across Central and wider Scotland.


What you'll be doing:


We are looking for Asbestos Site Supervisors to join our team based in East Kilbride and run projects based across Central and Wider Scotland.


In this role you will help oversee the delivery of a wide variety of complex licensed and non-licensed asbestos removal projects for clients across the public and private sector.

As a business, we work across a diverse range of sites; some straightforward and others that require an element of problem-solving skills to help the team ensure the safest and best method for every site.


Reporting into the Contracts Managers, you will have the day-to-day responsibility of managing staff and contractors on site, ensuring key deadlines are met, health and safety protocols are adhered to, and the quality of work delivered if 'best in class' standards.


Main Responsibilities

  • We want to help develop our team for the future, this role also requires an element of sharing knowledge & best practice with members of the team and carry out training needs analysis.
  • Be part of the working team, be a team player
  • Ensuring safe, timely delivery of asbestos removal works and adhering to proposed Method Statement for each project.
  • Ability to liaise with clients on site, explain works and identify areas of improvement where possible.
  • Completion of site paperwork, including equipment checks, training needs analysis, COSHH Assessments, Emergency response protocols, subcontractor competence assessments etc.
  • Ensuring the safety of our customers and team is at the forefront of all works.
  • Supervise and coordinate site works, including site team, subcontractors, deliveries and equipment servicing while ensuring key deadlines are met.
  • Complete and maintain project records/paperwork
  • Ensure that legislative requirements are met & maintained
  • Undergo specific training applicable to on site tasks when required

Essential Attributes:


  • 10 years' experience in a similar role
  • Relevant CSCS card holder (gold card)
  • Evidence of required certification
  • Asbestos Medical
  • Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and work to company budgets
  • Full Driving license (ability to tow)
  • Experience with nonlicensed Asbestos Removals

Desirable skills:


  • Valid SMSTS
  • Demolition experience
