An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the vibrant, warm and friendly Admin team within the Emergency Department at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust Hospital.

This is a challenging role working alongside the Receptionists, providing admin support to the team and also covering the reception desk when required.

Discharge patient records from SystmOne, ensuring all coding is complete and accurate ensuring clinical pathways are followed as per Trust policy.
Maintain confidentiality, patient's privacy and dignity and act in a courteous manner always.
Escalate any concerns over patients to the relevant clinical staff
Book, reschedule and cancel, where necessary, clinic appointments
Deal with telephone enquiries from GPs, patients, relatives, members of the public and other organisations
Deal with facetoface enquiries from patients and clinical staff within the department
Register patients coming into the Emergency department, using the electronic computer system (SystmOne), ensuring that all relevant patient information is taken and recorded accurately.
Scan patient documents timely and securely
