An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the vibrant, warm and friendly Admin team within the Emergency Department at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust Hospital.


This is a challenging role working alongside the Receptionists, providing admin support to the team and also covering the reception desk when required.

  • Discharge patient records from SystmOne, ensuring all coding is complete and accurate ensuring clinical pathways are followed as per Trust policy.
  • Maintain confidentiality, patient's privacy and dignity and act in a courteous manner always.
  • Escalate any concerns over patients to the relevant clinical staff
  • Book, reschedule and cancel, where necessary, clinic appointments
  • Deal with telephone enquiries from GPs, patients, relatives, members of the public and other organisations
  • Deal with facetoface enquiries from patients and clinical staff within the department
  • Register patients coming into the Emergency department, using the electronic computer system (SystmOne), ensuring that all relevant patient information is taken and recorded accurately.
  • Scan patient documents timely and securely
