My Client is well established, industry leading Engineering company. Based in Country Durham, they have seen year on year success, with further growth plans for 2023. They offer a range of services from Design through to Manufacturing.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for
General Operative to join their team on a
Temporary to Permanent basis.


This opportunity as an General Operativegives you the chance to work with one of the most respected companies in the North-East.

They offer not only an excellent package, but more importantly in todays world, job security.

Your primary responsibility is to fabricate from engineering drawings.


General Opertive Main Duties:


  • Being quality focused and able to work on own initiative
  • Using hand tools; rivet guns, drills, insert machines
  • TIG welding
  • Working from technical drawings
  • Liaising with the office on new drawings
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times

Requirements:


  • Reliable
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing
  • Fabrication experience
  • Experience with power tools

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday 7am 5pm


Pay rate
£9.75

Overtime rate after 38hrs
