Cook and Resident Support


Location:
Weston-Super-Mare


Contract: 24 hrs p/w shifts are 09:00-18:00 Including alternate weekends


Pay Rate:
£ £12.85

Abbeyfield are looking for someone that has the following skills.

  • Can confidentially cook for up to 10 people.
  • Organised and is ready to deal with whatever comes there way
  • Understands the importance of great customer service and the needs of older people
  • Basic computer skills (Experience with Outlook and excel is beneficial, training will be given with additional systems)

About the role

You will ensure the wellbeing and safety of our residents, being the first port of call for our residents to report any issues they may have, to investigate and escalate where necessary.

Budget management and basic computer skills would be an advantage, however full support and training will be given by our friendly and supportive staff.
