If you are a Human Resources professional with experience of supporting and advising managers on employee relations issues including absence and performance management, grievances, disciplinaries, probation casework, if you worked in a Further Education or wider Public Sector organisations - this could be your next role
I am supporting a large further education college group, who due to an internal progression are now looking to appoint a temporary (with potential to become permanent) Employee Relations Officer.
You will be reporting to the HR Manager and join a friendly and well established team as one of their three ER Officers providing HR advice and support to line managers and employees on the employee life cycle with a specialist focus on employee relations.
Ideally you will have the following experience:
- Possess CIPD Level 5 or equivalent by experience
- Experience of supporting on ER cases including sickness, grievances, disciplinary and performance
- Experience of coaching and supporting line managers through the management of staff and through the management of change
- Possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Skilled at use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams and be familiar with other apps in the Office 365 Suite
Please note: the post holder will be required to travel to other College centres and external venues occasionally. This post falls within the scope of the regulations requiring a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS check)._

Salary:
£30,000.00-£36,500.00 per year
