Job IntroductionTo support a senior executive or a multi disciplined team and provide an efficient and effective general administrative and secretarial support service.
Provide technical input interface with maintaining relevant records.To support the programme team in the everyday management of projects for which they are responsible, in accordance with the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP), Railway Group, Network Rail's company standards, and all current applicable legislation including CDM Regulations.

Salary:
Starting at £27,820 per annum, dependent on experience.
This role can be based in the following locations: Manchester Square One
Main Responsibilities
1. Organise diaries, meetings and the production, collation and dissemination of documentation for and resulting from them. Take minutes when required and follow up actions from the meeting.
- Work in support of the programme team, assisting to deliver projects to time, cost and quality through various phases in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Monitor and report programme and progress in accordance with project reporting systems and guidelines.
- Develop and integrate, effective support systems to enable the Programme team to manage and control change.
- Monitor contractor performance indicators and provide periodic progress reports.
- Support the Project Management team in providing a safe working environment at all times during the execution of those projects under their responsibility.
We need you to have:
- Some management experience including project management.
- Educated to HND/HNC or similar standard.
- HSQE awareness, issues and principles.
It would be advantageous if you have:
- Strong administrative organisational skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Membership (or working towards membership of) the Association for Project Management.
- A degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, environmental, commercial and financial aspects.

Transpennine Route Upgrade
The Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) is a Programme of activities that is improving the railway between York and Manchester via Leeds and Huddersfield.
Stretching across the North of England, this key 76-mile Transpennine railway serves 23 stations, crosses over and dips under 285 bridges and viaducts, passes through six miles of tunnels, and crosses over 29 level crossings.
Proposed improvements as will deliver a hard-working, reliable railway for passengers, allowing for trains with more seats, more services and faster journey times.
Salary:
Starting at £27,820 per annum, dependant on experience
Location:
Base location Manchester Square One
Office requirement:
Hybrid with 2 to 3 working days requirement a week in the office.
