HGV Shunter Driver
Vacancies available within Carntyne Transport Co Ltd for internal shunter drivers in Glasgow & Girvan. A variety of shifts available,
-
Key Responsibilities_

  • Daily checks of equipment held within site.
  • Positioning of trailers ( various types ) throughout the shift at required locations on behalf of the customer.
  • Manual handling activities will form part of the shunters additional duties as and when required.
  • To assist in loading and unloading as required, (must be physically fit and able to manually handle)
Full training will be provided in all activities before these are undertaken independently.

Skills / Qualifications_

  • C+E driving licence essential
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Customer focussed
  • Ability to work as a team member

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Central Belt: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • C+E Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location:
One location
