Finlay Jude Associates Ltd are supporting a leading Utility company who work UK wide.
We are looking for a Temporary
HR Advisor to work as part of the HR Team.

The role will be based in Enfield, Monday to Friday.

  • Support the Lead People Business Partner to deliver activities over a wide range of HR areas.
  • Having commercial acumen
  • Experience in a fastmoving, multisite environment and is recognised as someone who can help in varying people related situations.

Key Responsibilities as a
HR Advisor:


  • Pro-actively support the allocated business to deliver its People Plan
  • Champion the culture of service delivery to the allocated business focusing on commercial solutions, fair decision making and enabling the businesses to operate effectively (and with a fuss free approach)
  • Case management (disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management and appeals) processes
  • Change management (TUPE, reorganisations)
  • Coordinate recruitment, on boarding and Inductions
  • Work with the central Technical Administration Team to make sure that the allocated business is people and process compliant across employee lifecycle
  • Support the regular deliver of supervisory and management training and preparation of development plans with managers
  • Implement "best practice" policies
  • Support people engagement activities including benefits and wellbeing activities
  • Promote and train managers and staff in the use of internal HR systems
The ideal
HR Advisor will possess the following skills:

  • Worked in the infrastructure services/construction/support services/ utility industry or similar for a multi-site, site based business
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent HR customer service with pace and accuracy
  • Commercially biased is able to see where HR can add value to the business
  • Experienced in managing varied case work
  • Ability to manage your diary in order to support the night shift team as appropriate
  • Proven track record of developing effective working relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent IT/letter writing/communication skills
  • Has boundless enthusiasm, dynamism and a sense of humour
  • Is organised and a completer finisher
  • Able to work flexibly across a nationwide business
  • CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development ) qualified preferred.
