Financial Accountant opportunity within a fast growing acquisitive group organisation offering broad exposure to financial accounting for multiple businesses and unrivalled career development.

THE COMPANY

A highly-aquisitive business which has grown revenue considerably throughout the past c.5 years principally as a result of its acquisition strategy.

The group now has operations in all UK regions and is targeting further expansion within several core sectorsof operation.

THE OPPORTUNITY

A new Financial Accountant position has arisen which will involve supporting the Group Financial Controller with the management of the finances for all UK subsidiaries, and will offer exposure to financial & management accounting, budgeting & forecastingand weekly business analysis across all business operations.

As Management Accountant your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Finance Manager with reviewing and completing accounts for established subsidiary businesses across the UK
Working closely with the M&A Team to review and complete accounts for newly acquired businesses, managing the final accounts preparation process to derive valuation
Reviewing accounting systems and processes within small acquisitions and integrating accounts into Central Finance processes
Ad hoc reconciliations and project work

This opportunity will offer variety, challenge and long-term career progression within a fast-paced business. The positions would suit a Newly / Recently Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with a background in Chartered Practice.

THE PERSON
You will be an experienced Finance professional able to demonstrate:

Newly / Recently Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA)
Audit Firm Background, at least 3 years relevant Audit and Accounts experience within a reputable Practice
Ambition and career drive
Good IT skills, particularly Excel
