What will I be doing?


Our network teams provide a vital service, helping to ensure we supply water and provide sewerage services to our 2.8 million customers.

As one of our sewer solutions operatives working in a two-persons team in utilities, you would carry out inspections, repairs and maintenance to the sewer network to make sure they meet quality and customer service standards.


Day to day you will be involved in surveying the waste network and undertaking reactive repairs and maintenance on the wastewater network.

Repairs involve utilising trenchless techniques, surveying and where necessary, facilitating works to allow trenchless techniques to take place.

Training is provided out in the field while doing the role.

Our Team Leaders will walk you through your role and how to use the trenchless technologies and techniques, so you are fully capable of performing in your role on a day-to-day basis.


What are the requirements?
You'll be working within a great team, outdoors and dealing with different challenges every day.

If you have previous experience of doing a similar role and using trenchless technologies and techniques this would be ideal.


However, to be a great fit in this role, we're looking for someone who has a great work ethic and is dedicated to doing a good job.

Previous experience working within an outdoor or a practical manual handling role would be ideal due to the nature of this position.

We're looking for someone with a positive and can-do attitude who is well-organised, customer-focused and a great team player.
