Due to the retirement of the current postholder, we are now seeking our next Service Director Estates.

Reporting to our Director of Resources (Assistant Chief Officer), our estates agenda is a key pillar in our commitment to create collaborative safe environments for our teams to work from, through our shared estates model.

Working across a portfolio of Estates, PFI, and Logistics, you will develop and implement our robust estates and facilities strategy, ensuring that they align and provide effective support, and ultimately deliver the vision of each of our organisations.


As part of our Senior Leadership Team you will work closely with the Staffordshire Commissioner, both internal and external colleagues, and our PFI providers; therefore we will be looking for you to bring with you an innate ability to communicate and influence at all levels, build transparent and trusted relationships, and develop a high-performing estates service that is fit for the future.


We are therefore looking for a suitably qualified, ambitious and personable leader with experience within the public sector realm, holding a track record of sound financial and contractual management across a diverse and geographically dispersed estates portfolio.
