The role:


What will you be doing?
Medical Advisor - Psychiatry

Part Time (2 days a week)

Remote working with 2 days a month in our Basingstoke office


What will you bring?


Unum UK is looking for a part time Medical Advisor to join our team, the focus will be on conditions related to psychiatric, psychological, and behavioural health.


We are leaders in the field of disability management and we are seeking a passionate and innovative Medical Advisor to join our team, working 2 days a week.


You will be embedded in our dedicated Claims and Vocational Rehabilitation Teams, providing medical advice and explaining this in detail, contributing towards the effective management of claims, as well as supporting with our unwavering customer service.


No two days will be the same in this role, if you have a MRCPsych and significant post-registration experience as a consultant psychiatrist, we would like to hear from you.

Experience in medico-legal work, disability assessment and / or occupational health is preferable.


This role we be aligned to our Basingstoke office, we would like if you could come to our office 1/2 times per month, but we can be flexible.

Our Claims team is fundamental in delivering our promise of putting customers at the heart of employee benefits.
