Attendance Advisory Officer
Children and young people are at the heart of everything we do at the Borough of Royal Greenwich.


With this in mind, are you an experienced Educational Practitioner who is committed to championing the education of all children and young people? The post holder we are looking to appoint is an Attendance Advisory Officer to work within our wonderful Attendance Advisory Service.

You must be able to work effectively as part of a team with a clear focus on 'children and young people first'.

To undertake the specialist role of Attendance Advisory Officer to assist the LA, specifically schools, in meeting statutory obligations with regards to school attendance and the welfare of its pupils.

We believe it is everyone's responsibility to support attendance of children in our schools and with the support of the AAS we can promote this further.

The ability to work independently and with high levels of efficiency and self-organisation is essential to be successful in this role.


We are looking for a person with education experience who is willing to champion our children and young people and ensure they thrive.


With the support of the Attendance Advisory Service Team Manager and team members from across our Inclusive Services you will provide an enhanced service to schools across the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
