In this rapidly evolving world, Collins Aerospace is always looking for new ways to disrupt the status quo, go to market faster, and optimize customer experiences.

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to help lead this mission. This role will focus on self-service products within our Airports division.


About the Role:


As a Product Owner, you will be a key player in our product development team, turning our product vision and roadmap into features that deliver the greatest business value.

You will bridge the gap between end customers, business stakeholders, and technology teams, ensuring the delivery of high-impact solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive innovation and manage the endtoend product lifecycle
  • Champion the product vision and roadmap, leading a team from ideation to execution
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their needs through workshops, interviews, and more
  • Break down larger features into smaller, valuable increments
  • Prioritize backlog items based on business value
  • Translate product roadmap into detailed requirements, including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and development teams to refine features and agree on architectural options
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support the Scrum Master to ensure team commitments are met

Key Requirements:


MUST HAVE:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience as a Product Owner
  • Experience with products that have hardware and software components
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices
  • Strong understanding of business value related to product features
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Sharp analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to manage conflicting stakeholder needs
  • Technical background

NICE TO HAVE:


  • Product Owner/Manager Certification
  • Experience with airport or aerospace products
  • Experience with selfservice baggage products in airports
  • Proven track record of launching new products
