Assistant Branch Manager - Gateshead, Tyne & Weir

Opportunity to join one of the market leaders in this sector

£25,000 - £27,000 + profit share + Benefits


As one of the leading Merchants in the UK, our client is now looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join their well established, high profile branch in Birtley.


As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the branch alongside the branch manager leading your teams to drive sales and increase the profitability of your business.


You will be organised and a strong communicator who has the ability to motivate, train and develop your team to deliver high levels of service to our trade and retail clients - helping to build long lasting relationships with them.


Your Skills & Unique Attributes


You must have previous management experience working within a merchant, retail, consultative sales, or trade environment where you have developed a customer service ethic whilst delivering a fantastic and memorable experience for the customer.

You will be organised, have excellent communication and time management skills along with the drive and ambition to succeed.

You will thrive in leading a team and be keen to bring your initiative and creativity to the role while being able to work effectivelyand efficiently to manage your team's performance to achieve targets through successful sales.
