Description
Evo Personnel acting as an employment agency are looking for a machine operator based in Accrington.


Pay rate:
£12.00 while on training (going up to £14 after) + £15 shift allowance on night shift.


Shift:
Monday

  • Thursday 7am7pm and 7pm7am, Days and nights (2 weeks on night shift every 6 weeks)
It is a permanent role for the right person.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Operate machines efficiently.
  • Pack products with precision, including wrapping, weighing, and palletising.
  • Accurately record data using our inhouse computer system
  • Adhere to work instructions and customer specifications.
  • Prioritise tasks according to our production schedule.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, waste reduction, and quality.
  • Keep the work area clean and organised.

Key Skills Required:


  • Prior machine operating experience is essential.
  • Proficient in regular manual handling and manual dexterity
  • Flexibility to work both day and night shifts is essential.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision is essential.
  • IT literacy is desirable.
  • Familiarity with a busy factory environment is desirable.

Pay:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour
