I am partnering with a leading beverages brand, who have a range of Europe's most iconic soft drinks in their portfolio.
They have a rich culture, a unique mix of Japanese roots and European heritage, which makes them a unique company to be part ofThis role is pivotal in forming and leading their marketing division as part of their senior marketing leadership team. A key function of the role is shaping the business and portfolio strategy for the future.
You will:
- Be the main POC for portfolio growth strategy, and utilise the analysis of consumer requirements and opportunities
- Be the lead voice for customers to support on strategic cross functional priorities.
- Develop strategic insightled brand strategies for the company's portfolio as part of the annual brand planning process.
- Lead and embed key strategic insights tools, such as demand spaces.
- Advocate consumercentricity meaning that the consumer requirements directly correlate with the commercial decisionmaking process and are widely understood and regarded across the organisation.
- Guarantee optimum insight tools, methods and frameworks are being utilised to deliver added value insight with a ZBB mindset.
- Develop, encourage and support cross functional relationships to ensure the connection of category, shopper and customer insight to consumer and brand insight.
- Lead team to identify growth opportunities and drive the innovation agenda.
- Be constantly aware of external market activity and drive trends understanding and sharing.
- Networking with client's insight community to ensure insight and best practice is shared.
- Shaping the marketing values and principles whilst encouraging the development of the wider marketing teams and business agenda
- Grow a high performing team and ensure that they are motivated, empowered and are visible and impactful.
What you need to succeed:
- 10+ years experience in Marketing Insights
- Specialist at utilising insights to drive brand growth.
- Experience working in large matrix organisations
- Experience connecting multiple insight sources to identify issues/opportunities and drive decision making and action.
- Experience in brand strategy and positioning ?
- Track record in delivering results and large scale change that affects an entire organisation
- Confident managing and influencing senior global stakeholders
- Ideally FMCG and GBI knowledge as well as experience within large F&B corporate organisations
