Are you an Administrator looking for a new challenge?


SSCL have a very exciting opportunity to join us as an administrator, in a new pilot scheme working amongst our wider learning and development team.

Working in a small team, reporting to the team lead. You will be responsible for administrative, activities within the Learning Services Function.

This will involve responding to routine queries, issues or circumstances, and referring any unusual or non routine situations to others.

As this role is required to support a pilot of a new service, it is a fixed term role until October 2025

We offer a hybrid working pattern whereby you can work from the York site for 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday) and 3 days from home


What you'll be doing:
- processing transactions.

  • Learn the procedures and understand parameters of producing a quality output
  • Resolve queries, and log if appropriate
  • To schedule and prioritise allocated work daily.
  • Distribute information and when required, work to the other team members or groups.
  • Identify and suggest areas of improvement.
  • Maintain and update information held on a data base or manually.
  • Support line management on any extra admin when required.
  • Liaise with internal/external clients.

Employment Type Permanent - Fixed Term - October 2025

Location - York we have hybrid working available so a mix of being in the office and also working from home

Salary - £22,145 inclusive of 3% flex fund
