Title:
Area Dispatcher

Reporting to:
Call Desk Supervisor

Location:
Dundee Service Facility

Principal Objectives:

Effectively manage and coordinate site visits for a team of 20-30 field engineers.

Oversee interventions until satisfactory completion for customers.

Offer initial technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle incoming service calls and log them into the database.
- Coordinate daily work schedules for field technicians to maximize efficiency and resource utilization while meeting service level agreements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Update customer databases.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Perform daily administrative tasks as instructed by the call desk supervisor.
- Address and resolve customer queries and complaints.
- Provide remote diagnostics and level 1 resolution for customer IT issues.
- Collaborate with customers' on-site staff to promptly resolve faults.
- Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 regulations.

Skills & Abilities Required (Essential):

- Prior experience in a customer service role.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proven multitasking skills.
- Ability to work successfully in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Flexibility to work between 07:45 and 20:00, Sunday to Saturday (five days per week).
