Reed Accountancy in Oxford are excited to be partnering with a prestigious, well established client based in South Oxfordshire to help source a Finance Assistant on circa 20 hours a week.

The role offers a competitive salary, 25 days annual leave, free onsiteparking, flexible hours, health insurance, pension and death in service, in a settled, rural environment.

This role is perfect for someone with strong transactional accounting experience looking for a stable, steady finance role.

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Monthly rent run (Creating sales orders, monthly journal posting, creating collections )
Previous month rent allocation
Setting up contracts for new tenancies
6 monthly rent demands spreadsheets
Updating the contracts with new figures for service charges/insurance 6 monthly water bills for metered properties
Yearly water bills for Rateable Value properties
Yearly journal for 'staff cost' for water bills (VHCT and LT) Monthly bank reconciliation for all banks (Approx 10) including Barclaycard and Petty Cash
Keying supplier invoices
Using Purchase Order
Processing process on Builders to process supplier invoices
Monthly supplier payment runs weekly subcontractor payment run Monthly CIS return Setting up HMRC payments for PAYE and CIS Minimum wage calculation
Organizing the cash for the shoots preparing game shoots and wallets
Dealing with vehicles, insurance, taxing, MOT and tax recording Intercompany invoice posting and reconciliation
Rent vs Repairs for all entities for yearend accounts
Chasing overdue debts
Recharges

The role is perfect for someone with strong accounts experience and looking for a settled, stable role. Ideally, you will have strong Excel & Sage experience or on another accounting package.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skillsand be comfortable with liaising with internal and external stakeholders in a timely manor.

Finally, you will be comfortable working in a small, close knit and quiet team.
