The Digital Education team seeks to appoint a Digital Learning Designer to support and guide colleagues on the best use of our core Educational Technologies (including Moodle, PebblePad, Panopto, etc.) and various other supporting services within our Digital Learning Environment.

Through a range of activities, including engaging with staff directly involved in teaching and leading training and workshops, you will help develop the digital capabilities of others and empower staff to build quality and pedagogically sound learning activities for blended delivery.


You should have prior experience in supporting teaching and learning and, therefore, be aware of, or have experience in pedagogic and learning design.

You will have a relevant degree in a related field and have significant demonstrable experience in web technologies, developing Technology Enhanced Learning materials, and using and supporting a range of EdTech.

You will be expected to have excellent communication skills, be able to work as an influential member of a team and be adaptable to the demands of working in an area of rapid change and development.

You will be able to demonstrate self-leadership and an ability to move ideas into action.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. Flexible working options including job share will be considered.
