VTA Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with our client who is a leading supplier to the fish and chips/ fast-food sector.

This friendly family-run business has been established for over 100 years supplying industry traders throughout the Northwest, North Midlands and Mid Wales.

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and reliable warehouse operative. We have fantastic opportunities for hardworking, driven and flexible individuals to join our team doing a hands-on role.

Driving Licence essential, forklift truck licence preferred or through training in due course. Warehouse experience preferable.


The main duties of the role includes:

  • Manual handling
  • Picking/ packing orders for delivery and loading up the van for distribution.
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
  • Maintaining health & safety standards
  • Working as part of a team in a fast paced environment

Working hours

  • 43.5hrs per week


  • Monday

  • Friday (Saturdays Mornings require in busy periods)
  • 07.00am up to 7.00pm (must be flexible with working hours)
- £11.55 per hour
- £30 weekly bonus

  • Overtime available at £17.32ph after 43.5 hours.
