Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Practice Placement Quality Team which sits in the Directorate of Nursing, Quality and Professions.

The Team contributes to the quality assurance and ongoing improvement of practice education and the Practice Learning Facilitator (PLF) post supports the organisation to ensure that students and learners from a range of professions and programmes have a high-quality placement experience with us.

The team also supports frontline colleagues working in clinical areas

This is a busy and varied role, and your day-to-day work will include contact with a range of stakeholders including learners, clinical staff and managers as well as academic and support staff in partner universities.

This requires a high level of interpersonal skills and an ability to engage and negotiate with all stakeholders both within the organisation and the wider healthcare and higher education community.

A passion for education and a commitment to learning is integral to this role both in the communications with learners, the placement areas and the partner Universities

An understanding of the academic structure and requirements of courses as well as the learners curricula will be required as a PLF needs to be familiar with the learning outcomes of each learners programme in order to support their learning in practice.

**All employees of the Trust are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to protect patients.
