Infinity Employment are looking for an early shift
Quality Inspector for a temp - perm position with our Engineering specialist client based in
Leicester.

Role Purpose:

Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.


Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of products, partially assembled or finished.


Principal Responsibilities:


  • Approve incoming materials confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Approve inprocess production confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Approve finished products confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for rework; confirming rework.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing rework and waste; inputting data into quality database.
  • Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;

Experience:

**Essential:
- *
  • Inspection experience in a high precision engineering environment: aerospace, precision engineering or automotive
  • Experience of working to ISO900
  • Micrometers, verniers, height gauges,
  • Read customer drawings and understands the importance of accurate measurements
**Desirable:
- *
  • Gained Inspection experience in a fast moving high precision environment: aerospace, precision engineering or automotive CMM would be advantage
