Description

A fast-growing global Engineering company has a great opportunity for a Product Engineer to join its team. They offer a competitive salary.

Main Duties

To take ownership for the assigned product range through its lifecycle to the delivery to customer
Performing ongoing research on product developments, designs
Checking detail drawings to BS
Carry out all tests and prototypes for new designs
Keep up to date with the latest technology to be competitive in the market sector

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Must have HNC/D in Mechanical and Production Engineering or equivalent
Must have had experience in a similar role, with a minimum of years
Must be passionate and have an aptitude for design and product engineering.
Must have design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA),
Experience in root cause analysis
Experience in Production Engineering of components and assemblies,
Computer literate in all Microsoft Office products.
Able to carry out project costing and quotation and the ability to read technical drawings
