Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly recognise the importance of Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) for our community.

It is an exciting time to join the team as we continue to grow and develop to deliver a high-quality psychological therapy service which is forward thinking and innovative.

Supporting and developing our therapists is very important to us and we provide comprehensive and regular CPD and training opportunities.


Post holders will work in the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly IAPT service and provide high intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to service users who have a range of complex anxiety and depression related problems.

The role will include providing specialist CBT assessment and therapy, offer advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to colleagues, work to NICE recommendations and within British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) professional guidelines.


Main duties of the job:


Post holders will have a Post Graduate Masters level qualification in Psychological Therapies Practice (High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) or equivalent, significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competencies required, BABCP accreditation or eligibility for BABCP accreditation.


A generous relocation package could be negotiated if relocating to the county that offers temporary remote working during the relocation process.
