We are looking for a Ward Clerk to join the Child Heath team at Ipswich Hospital on a part time basis.

This role will involve working with experienced Ward Clerks on the Children's Ward as well as the Paediatric Assessment and Investigation Units.

You should possess good IT and clerical skills. You will be dealing with the general public so it is paramount that you have good people skills.

Please note that we may close this role early should we receive sufficient applicants


Your duties will include, reception service for the ward, dealing with telephone enquiries, inputting and updating data on the hospital database, dealing with the general public as well as general administration duties such as filing, copying and ordering consumables.

You will support the Ward Sister in her role completing more specific administrative tasks as requested.
