If this sounds like you, a placement based within the West Midlands Regional Cyber Crime Unit could be for you.

We are recruiting 2 student interns to work within our team. The ROCUWM is part of a national network tackling the threat posed by cyber crime and dark web criminality. This role will support the 4P Strategy within Prevent, Protect and Prepare.

You will be required to take a year out from your studies or use this as a placement year as this is a full time, paid role working within a Birmingham location with a requirement to work regionally at times.


Your key focus will be to engage with organisations and businesses in order to protect them from the threat of cyber crime, both in person and across social media platforms.

Vetting:

Successful applicants will be required to pass Management Vetting and Security Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role, this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.


Medical:

Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.
