The Best Connection are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to work with one of our clients on and temporary ongoing basis with a possibility of going permanent after 12 weeks.


The key responsibilities in this role include;


To supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve Operational Standards and defined outcomes for your responsibility area / shift approach.

Participate on shift handover with your colleague of previous shift understanding the current status and priorities for your working day
Report and investigate Health and Safety incidents within the work place and respond to or escalate issues of non compliance to safety regulations and procedures
Communicate Objectives & KPIs within your team
Support the Frontline Leadership to promote engagement within the team


What you would need for the role:
Previous operations experience within a fast paced, warehouse environment
Strong IT skills - using Microsoft Office programs, such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Counterbalance experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given
A can do, passionate and right first time attitude


Shifts:

5 days over 7 on a rota of below:1 Week Dayshift
1 Week Backshift
1 Week Nightshift


Pay rate:

£12.88
