Job overview:


An adaptable, motivated and resourceful Admin Team Lead is required to enable the efficient and effective function of administration within the West Adult Learning Disabilities (LD) Admin Team.

This is part of a job share position and will be based in the Kernow Building, Redruth.


The ability to prioritise roles and tasks for self and others, finding solutions to process problems and to structure own workload whilst working as part of a team is essential.

In addition, the ability to remain calm and present an understanding approach are essential criteria for this post, along with excellent IT skills with experience.


You should have substantial experience of working in an office environment with both secretarial and clerical experience including reception duties preferably within the NHS or very similar settings.


There will be a requirement for the successful applicant to demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work and be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, carers, the general public, colleagues and representatives from Hospitals and other organisations.

This is a job share working 15 hours per week Thursdays and Fridays, hours.


Main duties of the job:

To be accountable for overseeing and providing a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the community team, ensuring that a high quality service is delivered at all times

***To be responsible for the day to day management of the office and reception, including recruitment, supervision and co-ordination of the administrative team in the designated service area.

Responsible for the health and safety aspects of the team building/offices
