We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Secondary Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our dynamic team at Axcis Education.


Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring students receive personalised attention and support.
Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students with diverse learning needs, including those with challenging behaviour.
Support students in developing their study skills, organisation, and time management.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional development of students.

Collaborate with the SEN department and other staff members to ensure the provision of individualised support for students with special educational needs.


Requirements:

Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school or similar educational setting is preferred.
Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students' academic and personal growth.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing educational environment.
A commitment to promoting inclusivity, equality, and diversity in the classroom.
