Hilldales are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Operative to work in our 56-bed care home in Ilfracombe

THE ROLE

General maintenance of the home
Maintaining equipment and keeping up to date records
Carrying out regular tests and checks such as fire alarms, water, equipment and PAT testing
Completing relevant paperwork including health and safety audits and risk assessments
Painting and decorating
Liaise with the Home Manager and/or Managing Director regarding any problems

THE RIGHT PERSON

To be flexible to suit the needs of the home and able to prioritise workload
Must have experience in general maintenance, care home maintenance experience is desirable
Experience of working both independently and in a team
Basic plumbing & electrical works essential

Salary:
From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
