£28,382 per annum

37.5 hours average per week (3-week rota Monday - Friday only)

35 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays)

The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical, and social wellbeing throughout their lives.

We are looking for an experienced Exercise Therapist to join our multi-profession rehabilitation team at our residential centre Marine Court, West Sussex.

Designing and delivering exercise programmes and health and wellbeing activities, you will interact with service users face-to-face, over the telephone and online.

After working with beneficiaries to understand their individual needs, you will develop tailored exercise plans, conduct individual and group coaching sessions and create online self-care initiatives, whilst constantly monitoring participants' progress.

We need a passionate professional who can make a lasting difference to people's lives and mobility, so you will require sound experience within rehabilitation settings, including proven ability to lead group exercise sessions on land and in water.

Supporting clients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and long-term conditions should be second nature to you.

You will hold a degree-level qualification in a sports or exercise-related discipline, giving you specialist knowledge of exercise physiology, exercise psychology, exercise for special populations, health promotion and/or the principles of training.

Finally, you should be a true self-starter with plenty of initiative and excellent organisational skills, including the ability to maintain complex confidential electronic records.
