Description

What you will do in your working day

Learn daily routine and why it is so
Understand safeguarding and health and safety practices
Learn about the individual children
Become a familiar adult for the parents
Undertake care duties
Understand behavioural expectations
Begin to understand the EYFS and statutory Framework
Start to complete observations and assessments
Initiate the changes in the daily routine
Share information with parents about their children
Become a Key Person for 1 or 2 children
Start to assess children's development and behaviour
Planning adultdirected activities and enhancements to the environment
Become an integral part of developing the curriculum according to the children we have
Using knowledge/ research to impact policy and practice
Have effective relationships with parents where knowledge about the child from both sides is imparted
Begin to take responsibility and roles for certain aspects of the preschool

What to expect before starting
-
Before starting, we aim to train and upskill individuals with our NOCN accredited courses, these will be once a week, every two weeks, over a three month period. Upon completion of each course, you will receive a certificate. Not only does this look amazing on your CV for employers, but you're able to upskill yourself at zero cost

From £9,000.00 per year
