A dynamic and vibrant secondary school located in the heart of Kirklees is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish teacher to join the team.


The role:


  • To teach Spanish to students aged 111
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Use a variety of teaching and learning styles to support student progress and engagement
  • Assess, track and report on student progress, and set targets for improvement
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the department
  • Encourage students to develop an interest in Spanish language and culture and foster their love of learning

About you:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of the Spanish language and culture
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to raising student achievement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
