They now have a brand-new opening for someone with some customer service or office-based experience to join them as a Customer Care Claims Handler


They are looking for people with excellent customer service, response, and resolution skills, who will engage with their customers in a respectful way.


You will be working in their First Notification of Loss and Customer Care team to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and claim handling service.

This is a fantastic role to enhance your career within the Insurance sector. Located in Witham, Essex with fantastic transport links and very close to shops.


What you will be doing:

  • To provide a professional and proactive response in assessing customer claims in line with policy and procedure
  • Providing an empathetic service to clients who have been involved in road traffic incidents.
  • Liaise with external companies and internal departments in a timely and professional manner to effectively process the customers claim.
  • To resolve any issues avoiding expressions of dissatisfaction escalating into complaints
  • Handle First Notification of Loss (FNOL) calls, entering relevant claims details.
  • To monitor and manage claims ensuring all services are provided in an agreed timescale.
  • Assessing new claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions
  • Identify and initiate any potential recoveries from third parties.
  • To identify Third Party intervention opportunities are instruct suppliers.
  • Work to agreed SLA's and KPI's

  • The Ability to deal with challenging customers and thirdparty insurers.

Benefits:


Following a successful probationary period, all Employees get access to their cash back health benefits scheme and a Company Pension Scheme.


Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm


Salary:
Starting salary on offer is £19,000 to £22,000, depending on experience.
