Description

Metalis are working with a brilliant
Engineering Workshop who are specialist in
Oil & Gas drilling equipment. Due to continued investment and expansion our client is looking for
Draughtsperson to join their team.

This role has a
clear succession plan attached to it and will suit an individual looking to forge a career for themselves in a company who really looks after their workforce.

This is a days regular position working
08:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday. In return our client will
pay £2- 30,000 per year.

Expected Duties
Produce detailed 2D/3D Drawings ensuring accurate measurements are followed using Solidworks software

Creation of CAD Models at various stages of manufacturing

Work closely with the production team on each job

Create drawings inline with the agreed time scales

Create drawings for jigs and fixtures

Review drawings by colleagues and collaborate well

Assist in drawings that will benefit the company's own product ranges

About You
Be able to manage work loads in an effective and timely manner

Be able to keep accurate records of drawings

Work Cohesively within a team as well as individually

Be able to confidently contribute ideas for the company's wider success

Be fully proficient in the use of SolidWorks CAD Software
