Site Manager
£5- 65K PA + Car Allowance + Performance Bonus | Permanent | Castle Donington
The Role
You will be working for a worldwide supply chain management company. You will be fully accountable
to deliver key targets in productivity, quality, delivery, cost inventory, management and employee
relations. Working Monday - Friday 9am-5pm however, some flexibility is required.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Minimise customer complaints and ensure all corrective actions are robustly closed.
- Elimination of internal nonconformance's. Development, implementation and control of quality processes and procedures.
- Leadership and direction of Operations Functions in line with Company goals.
- Accountable for all budgetary management and cost control in relation to Operations at the site level.
- Responsible for Inventory Management including accuracy, losses and damages.
- Responsible for executive summary reporting of KPI's. Oversee activity scanning to record accurate time allocation, reporting and improving productivity.
- Optimise layout and material flows.
- Responsible for the utilisation and maintenance of MHE and other equipment.
- Headcount and Capacity planning to achieve maximum productivity and meet SLA's.
- Responsible for Season readiness and PEAK/launch management as well as new business implementation within the warehouse.
- Responsible for all People Management activity in relation to Operations headcount.
- Cost management and utilisation for agency labour.
- Oversee training plans within warehouse.
- Effective management of vendor base pertaining to Operations activity.
- Working closely with the Director of Operations and the other Site Operations Managers collaboratively to drive continuous improvement within Operations.
- 6S Management of the entire Warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with all Security, Health & Safety and housekeeping policies and processes at the site level.
The Person
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management or comparable work experience
- Previous experience in managing a large team and working at a senior level in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems, SAP or similar system
- Problem solving skills with critical thinking
- Working in accordance with Company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities
- Performing all duties in accordance with the law and Company's Procedures, Policies and Code of Conduct
