Description

We are searching for a highly motivated and creative software engineer to join our Productivity Engineering group and drive solutions to optimise our IP and System development processes.

Our group develops best-practice methodologies and corresponding automatedflows to improve development efficiency and enable delivery of high-quality products

Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer, you will work as part of a team to help develop, test and maintain python-based tools to implement creative solutions to improve efficiency of our engineering teams.

These tasks will typically include:

Developing in Python to implement, fix or improve product features
Working with internal team to develop innovative solutions
Writing software tests for those features and raising/fixing/tracking/closing defects on products

You should have good university degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent life experience and knowledge.

Required Skills and Experience:

Significant Python coding experience
Knowledge of common software development and test processes
A high level of proactivity and initiative
Strong communication skills: listening, understanding and persuading
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.

'Nice to Have' Skills and Experience:

Experience, or background in, digital electronics or EDA (Electronic Design Automation)
A good understanding of working with formats such as JSON, XML or YAML
Significant experience in Linux
CI/CD tools using Jenkins
Use of version control systems such as git.
