Description
Project Finance Manager, Media & Entertainment, up to £75, month FTC)
Working alongside the Head of Commercial Finance, you will carve out a newly created role in a developing team and business, which is now part of a Global Group


Initially you will:

  • Immerse yourself in the client finance team, and processes, to establish better reporting, analysis, and dashboards in the future (30%)
  • FPA and corporate level reporting for the new Group Co (10%)
  • Various projects alongside the HOF (60%)

Responsibilities:


  • Revenue based reporting for the US Parent
  • Weekly/monthly/quarterly client analysis, including first point of contact for complex client account queries
  • Provision of new dashboard and reporting for Heads of Depts and Agents
  • Various FPA/revenue duties in partnership with the Data Analyst
  • USGAAP/Sox technical tasks as in partnership with the corporate team
  • Dotted line support/mentor to the client accounts and royalties' teams
  • Various projects including; CRM systems development; Client market insight development and reporting; Digital assets development
Experience, skills, and behaviours

  • Qualified Accountant, ideally ACA
  • Experience with a US Group and USGAAP/SOX
  • Ideally knowledge of revenue recognition in media/publishing sector
  • Selfstarter and good prioritisation skills
  • Able to work with and challenge and influence passionate nonfinance colleagues
  • Experience of working in and creating some structure in a busy environment
