About the role:


UX Researcher

Full time

Permanent

London based (hybrid working with 2-3 days at the office)

Reports to the Lead Product Designer

Are you a data driven UX researcher with a passion for technology and people, who wants to create amazing products? This could be the job for you


You'll be joining Go City at an exciting time of growth where you will work with the wider design team to influence and ensure a digital mindset is embedded into the core of the business and you'll have a true impact and influence on shaping customer experiences from start to finish.


What will you be helping us to do?

  • Utilising usability lab studies, user interviews, expert evaluations, moderated sessions and prototyping of journey's and experiences
  • Delivering scalable processes and systems for feedback collection and insights driven workshops
  • Working alongside engineers, designers and product managers involved in the discovery and research process.
  • Diving into understand how our product is used, to influence the research and solutions we pursue
  • Work with the team to identify and highlight which problems have higher priority, and break them down into the outcomes we're looking to achieve.
  • Creating research plans to address key questions for product development and design teams.
  • Designing, facilitating, and analysing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative user research methods
  • Creating dashboards to track performance and metrics using GA/GA4 providing insights to the wider team

What skills do you have that are essential in this role?

  • Proven product design research experience focusing on end to end customer UX
  • Extensive experience with qualitative research projects with various complexities.
  • Good experience with data and utilizing numbers to define and support hypotheses.
  • Problemsolving skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Empathy and an interest in human behaviour, needs and motivations.
  • Understanding of research operations (tools, processes) to improve team efficiency and effectiveness of research.
  • Good collaboration skills, experience working with designers, developers, stakeholders or clients.
