Fibre Engineer -

Hedley Down Hindhead, Pangbourne, Reading, Aldershot,Guildford

£30,000 - £40,000

Map Group (UK) is currently seeking experienced Fibre Splicers with a minimum of two years hands on knowledge and experience in network fibre splicing and testing on the Virgin Media or BT networks.

Responsibilities

Installation and testing of all fibre cabling works.
Lone Worker Role on a national Basis
Work remotely without direct daily supervision on a national basis reporting direct to project management team
Working on FTTP Projects
Splicing and Testing throughout external networks and in customer premises in both MDUs and SDUs

Desirable Skills & Experience

A recognised qualification in Fibre installation and Splicing
Experience working on either VM or BT network.
Able to meet strict quality standards.
Results orientated.
Awareness of Customer Satisfaction for both internal and external sources.
Self-Motivated.
Good communication skills
Qualified with NRSWA
A Full UK Driving Licence
