Looking for a new career opportunity? Come and join our Customer Service TeamWe are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service Account Representative at the Four Ashes site.
The Customer Service Account Representative will work closely with Sales, Planning and Logistics to maintain a smooth process from customer order to delivery.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy, prioritisation and organisation management will be key to success in this role.
Main duties for this role include:
- Executing towards achieving "right product in right packaging in right quantity at right time at right place with right price in right quality with right documentation"
- Review and evaluate customer orders to determine acceptance based on: product availability; equipment availability; loading appointment availability; the most efficient logístical arrangement to maximize freight economics; the ability to meet customer's special instructions.
- Accurately enter customer orders into SI Group ERP system to ensure efficient handling of orders.
- Working with Sales & Marketing Departments to ensure correct pricing, payment terms and freight terms are entered for each order.
- Supporting Logistics with creating customer shipment documents, and submitting appropriate federal regulatory documents or automated filings as needed for export shipments.
- Supporting Logistics in working with freight forwarders to coordinate bookings and shipments of export orders; troubleshooting as necessary.
- Sending invoices timely and accurately to customers
- Handling customer questions and issues, passing or elevating them to other departments to resolve as necessary.
- Entering all necessary details for customer returns and complaints in a timely manner into the corporate systems for processing.
- Maintaining customer data (including but not limited to addresses, partners, notes, and specification codes) in the ERP system.
- Performing integrity testing as needed to test future rollouts of upgrades or fixes to the ERP system.
- Completing all required online and classroom training within allotted timeframe.
- Rotating responsibility for the emergency afterhours coverage program to mitigate customer supply issues beyond normal business hours.

£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
