As a Welder/Fabricator for B&B Attachments you will fabricate metal parts together which form components used in the build of our products. You will ensure a good finish of the product to which you are working on.

Duties include:

Assess which welding equipment is required and which method is the most appropriate for a specific welding task
Aligning components to be welded using rulers, and clamping the pieces for stability
Calculating dimensions of parts to be welded
Inspecting welded surfaces and smoothing them for the best finish

Role Requirements:

An understanding of engineering drawings and instructions
An understanding of the properties of the materials you work with
Inspecting finished work to verify that it meets specifications
Ensuring that safe work practices are followed and adhered to

Personal Requirements:

To be able to work alone
Good practical skills
To be able to work precisely
Good concentration levels
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events

Hours of Work:

Monday-Thursday 7:30am4pm
Friday 8am12pm
Contracted hours are 36 hours per week
Overtime is paid at time and a half and Sunday overtime is paid at double time
