We have recently gained a new package of care bringing many fresh and exciting opportunities to join our new team in Birkenhead.


We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants or Support Workers in Birkenhead who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling her to live as independently as possible in her family home.


Meet our service user


Our service user is a young adult who lives with her family in Birkenhead, she requires support throughout the day on a 1:1 basis.

She is unable to verbally communication but is an advocate for IGaze technology.

This amazing technology allows our service user to type on a computer using her eyes, she was recently nominated for an award due to how proficient she is with the use of IGaze.


We are looking for care staff who are open minded, have a good sense of humour and are happy to participate in impromptu activities as our service user lives for the moment and can be spontaneous.

She also loves to have her hair and makeup done so staff need to be able to support her with this.


You will be required to assist with social activities as well as meeting her care needs, this could include personal care, mobility support and attending to her clinical care needs when required.


As her dedicated support worker, you will play a big part in helping her to access the community and support her in enjoying her hobbies and interests such as attending music concerts, shopping for clothes, and going out for food.


It is essential that you hold a valid driving licence as you will have the use of an adapted vehicle to access the community.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team

Essential Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Valid Driving Licence

Desirable Experience

  • Brain Injury Experience
  • Cerebral Palsy Awareness

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time and Part Time
  • Days
  • 8am 4pm
  • Fridays & Saturdays

Take a look at our payrates

Weekdays:
£14.00 per hour (£112 approx. per shift)

Saturday:
£15.00 per hour (£120 approx. per shift)

Bank Holiday:
£20.00 per hour (£160 approx. per shift)
