Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Materials and Production Planner to join a company who are experts in material technology and high-quality manufacturing.

This position will be instrumental for improvement in planning and progressing of all existing processes and new processes in our growing company.

The role entails working with raw material suppliers right through to delivery of finished goods to customers.

Located in Poole offering a £30,000 salary

Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling all production work within the manufacturing unit
Ensure that raw materials, packaging, and other productions consumables are delivered in a timely manner
Keep all workflow up to date
Ensuring all lines are stocked with the relevant material
Communicating any backlogs in production to management
Ensuring deadlines are being hit
Monitor/report KPI's & and participate in continuous improvement projects

Person Specification

Some experience or training in production planning.
Ability to multitask efficiently and deliver to deadlines.
Strong organizational skills.
Ideally be a graduate.
Excellent PC skills (advanced in MS Excel) and planning software ERP/MRP (ideally Microsoft Dynamics BC 365).
Very numerate with good mathematical / analytical skills.
Preferably with working experience in a manufacturing industry.
